It is proposed that Aylestone School, Broadlands Primary School, and Withington Primary School join the Greenshaw Learning Trust (GLT) on 1 January 2027, subject to the necessary formal agreements and approvals.

The three schools already work closely together and have developed a strong culture of collaboration, sharing expertise and learning from one another to improve outcomes for pupils. Joining GLT would provide the schools with the opportunity to build on this existing collaboration and benefit from the wider expertise, resources and support available through a multi-academy trust.

The Greenshaw Learning Trust is a successful multi-academy trust of 40 primary, secondary and special schools across the South of England. GLT's schools work closely together, sharing expertise and supporting one another, while retaining their individual character and their important place within their local communities.

Joining the Greenshaw Learning Trust would give us the opportunity to benefit from the expertise and support of a larger organisation, while continuing to focus on our shared ambition of achieving excellence together. Subject to the necessary formal arrangements and approvals, it is proposed that Aylestone School, Broadlands Primary School, and Withington Primary School will join the Greenshaw Learning Trust on 1 January 2027.​​​​​​
